Enigin advancing solution

posted by enigin in Business Advice

At Enigin we try to always keep ahead of the curve as far as business and marketing strategy is concerned and encourage Enigin Distributors to monitor what is working in their territories for other businesses - but it is hard work as so many things are changing continually.

Business life is changing. Media is changing. And most importantly new style media is changing how business works.

How, do you ask? This new media is known as Social Media. It is the upcoming and modern way to do business. Whether it is selling, buying, networking, marketing or advertising - it is the thing to do. If you don’t, your missing out.

Enigin Plc and Micromanging

posted by enigin in Business Advice

No one likes to work for a micromanager and at Enigin Plc we try to make this point to Enigin Distributors when they visit Enigin UK for Enigin Training.

To underline the point from the Enigin Training some new research revealed this year shows that micromanaging is not only frustrating and bad for morale, but it also hurts productivity.

Enigin Distributors need to take note when they run their energy saving businesses and follow the model of Enigin UK.

Who Should You Sell To - Big or Small(er)?

posted by enigin in Business Advice

At Enigin it is certainly preferable for new Enigin Distributors to target Small to Medium Enterprises, where they speak directly to a decision maker - it provides a rapid way to start and establish a business.

Often Enigin Distributors want to help Coca-Cola save energy, or HSBC or some other multi-national organisation. Dollar signs flash up in their eyes and they think it will be easy - it never is.

Not that large corporations shouldn’t be targeted, but if you are starting out in business you need to get the money flowing, so go to those that provide quick decisions and also need less of an operation to get up and running. But how about those medium size companies?

Once your established, taking longer and having a “big” deal run in the back ground is probably a worthwhile goal - and as this post on Bnet.com states, it maybe be the better option for an established business:

You’re an experienced sales professional selling a product in an industry that you know quite well.  Your manager gives you a choice between two hot leads.  One lead is for a large, internationally- known enterprise; the other is for a medium-sized, regional business.  The potential deal size and up-sell potential are the same in both cases.

Which one should you target?

Spending money is part of life really. We all need to do it, no matter how hard we try to be careful, we can’t get away with spending no money at all. But we can work hard to be careful how we spend our money.

How we save our money too is an important thing. As we see in the news daily countries are having to make changes and cut backs, it is no different for businesses and individuals.
